01 · Where our experience lies

Knowledge built alongside major industrial accounts in Africa.

Before founding ABD, Theo Andrade was Export Manager for a European industrial safety company, in charge of business development in African oil & gas markets, working with operators, refiners and national companies. This field experience now shapes ABD's missions.

Map of Europe and Africa. France, where ABD is based, is linked to two highlighted regions: West Africa and Central Africa.

Regions as defined by the United Nations geoscheme. They show where ABD's experience lies; knowledge of a given country depends on its sector and context, and each mission is scoped accordingly. Base map: Natural Earth.

Base

France

ABD's base and the starting point of its missions, conducted in French and English, for European and African companies alike.

Energy · key accounts

Central Africa

Operator environments and industrial facilities in the oil & gas sector, where the relationships with major accounts were built.

Industry · equipment

West Africa

Industrial and technical environments: energy, equipment, specialised distribution.

Other markets

Studied after scoping, according to the sector and the information available.

02 · Sectors and challenges

Industrial and technical environments, with their own commercial rules.

Technical buyers, supplier qualification, long cycles, decisions taken at several levels: these are the situations we know, beyond sector labels.

Deepest experience

Energy and hydrocarbons

Operators, refiners, national companies and their industrial facilities: the environment in which the founder developed markets.

The challenges
  • Understanding decision paths: operations, maintenance, safety, procurement.
  • Meeting supplier qualification and equipment safety requirements.
  • Working within long cycles driven by a few major accounts.

Equipment & industry

Manufacturers and suppliers of equipment, parts and technical solutions targeting a new market.

The challenges
  • Checking market access and the requirements applicable to the offer.
  • Choosing the right channel: distributor, agent, integrator.
  • Securing local commissioning and after-sales capabilities.

Engineering & technical services

Engineering firms, technical service companies and industrial subcontractors.

The challenges
  • Identifying the players in a project: owners, EPC contractors, subcontractors.
  • Positioning an offer at the right stage of the project.
  • Finding the relevant contacts and partners.

Specialised B2B distribution

Distributors, importers and representatives of technical product ranges.

The challenges
  • Finding manufacturers to represent.
  • Broadening a range or opening a new customer sector.
  • Developing new markets for the products distributed.

Other sectorsOther industrial or technical B2B activities can be studied. Scoping determines whether the information available allows a reliable analysis.
